August was a busy month, with nearly 11% more passengers travelling through the airport than the same month last year. 

Recently, Jet2 and Jet2holidays announced the launch of their ninth Italian gateway from Birmingham Airport, with flights and holidays via Amalfi Coast (Salerno) Airport going on sale for Summer 25.

Jet2 and Jet2holidays will operate weekly Monday services to the Amalfi Coast (Salerno) from Birmingham Airport from 26th May to 29th September 2025
