United Nigeria Airlines scores 98% reliability in July and passes IATA Operational Safety Audit

United Nigeria Airlines recently confirmed it successfully achieved its second IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification.  IOSA certification is a globally recognized benchmark for operational safety, and this achievement demonstrates United Nigeria Airlines' dedication to maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality in its operations.

July Performance

In July the airline achieved 98% schedule reliability, operating 599 out of 610 scheduled flights, however, on-time performance was down to 67%, which the carrier was mainly due to adverse weather conditions.

Only 15 flights were cancelled, and 199 flights experienced delays. Of these delays, 80 percent were under one hour. The delays were mainly caused by unfavourable weather and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
