Shetland spaceport rocket engine test ends in explosion.

German space technology company Rocket Factory Augsburg was carrying out a rocket engine test at one of the two UK spaceports, SaxaVord, Shetland when the engine exploded causing a massive fireball.

RFA is aiming to launch rickets from the spaceport in the near future to carry various payloads into orbit and help establish the UK as a viable place to launch space flights from. The firm confirmed nobody had been injured in the explosion and there was no damage to the launch pad itself.
