Good news for travellers in the South West of the UK as leading holiday firm Jet2 decided to bring forward the launch of flights from its newest base, Bournemouth Airport.
The airline and holiday company has announced it is moving the start date from 1st April 2025 to 4th February 2025 following an incredible response from customers and independent travel agents in the region.
Tenerife – three weekly services (Tuesday, Friday and Saturday) operating from 4th February 2025.Lanzarote – two weekly services (Monday and Thursday) operating from 6th February 2025.Gran Canaria – weekly Sunday services operating from 9th February 2025.
These services will run all year round.
From April 2025 Jet2's first-ever summer programme from Bournemouth Airport will also commence, featuring 16 key destinations across Europe, including the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Turkey, Greece and the Mediterranean. The firm will operate up to 27 weekly flights from the airport with two aircraft based there.
