UK Defence minister Ben Wallace to not seek re-election and will leave government at next reshuffle.

The UK's Secretary of State for Defence Ben Wallace has said he will not stand as a member of parliament in the next UK national election according to The Times newspaper on Saturday.

Wallace who recently criticised UKriaine for not being grateful enough to Western nations supplying it with weapons, also said he would step down from his ministerial position and leave the cabinet when Prime Minister Rishi Sunak carries out his next reshuffle. Whilst there is no date set for the next general election, it will occur within the next 18 months and the next cabinet reshuffled was expected to take place at the end of August or the start of September.
