During August 2022, Latvian airline airBaltic has carried 386 500 passengers or by 38% more than during the same period last year. In August 2022, airBaltic performed 3 690 flights – by 20% more than in August 2021.

Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic: “We have recorded a strong summer, and as the summer demand peak is behind, we begin to approach the winter season when we expect the passenger numbers to naturally decrease. We will continue to offer a vital connectivity to and from the Baltic region and increase our leisure route offering by adding new flights to Marrakesh in Morocco and Gran Canaria on the Canary Islands.”

airBaltic continues to offer the best connectivity to and from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius as well as Tampere, connecting them with leading European business centres and transit hubs.
