Spirit Airlines' shares fell by 7% this morning in premarket trading Monday following news the board of the low-cost carrier was still going with an offer from Indigo Partners airline Frontier, turning down a far superior offer from New York’s hometown airline JetBlue. A short rally upon opening hasn't had lasting effects with the price down 7.38 as or 1650 on 27 June.
Spirit’s shareholders are expected to vote on the take-over deals on Friday of this week and which would then need regulatory approval.
