The Latvian Government-sponsored airline airBaltic has launched direct flights between Riga and Batumi, Georgia and now connects both cities with two weekly flights.
Located in Georgia and bordered by the Black Sea, Batumi is a port city that is famous for its sunny beaches, impressive architecture and botanical gardens. It’s becoming one of the most popular tourist leisure destinations in the region and prior to the pandemic, it was set to become a key business centre.
Flights between Riga and Batumi will be operated by the Airbus A220-300 aircraft, formally known as the Bombardier CS300. airBaltic continues to offer the best connectivity to and from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius and Tampere, connecting them with leading European business centres and transit hubs.
