TH Wildau presents complete systems for air support in the event of a disaster as well as a virtual flight instructor as a pilot support system

On the occasion of the international trade fair for general aviation AERO 2022 from 27 to 30 April 2022 in Friedrichshafen, the Technical University of Wildau will present the research projects ALADIN, ALARM and VIGA at the joint stand of the state of Brandenburg (Hall A5, Stand 300).

On the occasion of the international trade fair for general aviation AERO 2022 from 27 to 30 April 2022 in Friedrichshafen, the Technical University of Wildau (TH Wildau) will present the research projects "Advanced Low Altitude Data Information System" (ALADIN), "Advanced Altitude Reconnaissance and Monitoring System" (ALARM) and "Virtual Instructor for General Aviation" (VIGA) at the joint stand of the State of Brandenburg (Hall A5, Stand 300). ) of the Aeronautical Engineering Research Group.

The ALADIN project deals with the development of a 5G-based overall system for reconnaissance, surveillance, protection and situational awareness as well as for the control of unmanned emergency equipment in disaster operations. At the booth in Friedrichshafen, an application scenario will be demonstrated with the help of a miniature model.

Furthermore, TH Wildau will also be presenting its field of expertise "Development, design, construction and testing as well as the use of unmanned small aircraft up to a maximum of 25 kg" at the trade fair. For this purpose, a model (scale 1:2.5) of the fixed-wing measuring drone ATISS will be exhibited. The unmanned small aircraft is part of an overall system for air support in the event of a disaster and will be further developed in the ALARM project and used as a reconnaissance drone.
