The US Republican supporting Delta Air Lines reported its May 2018 operating performance today in which the airline claims it carried 16.8 million passengers across its broad global network during May, which includes award tickets and staff repositioning.
Highlights for the month for Delta include the launch of new uniforms for the airline's 64,000 staff around the world. The new work outfits were created by acclaimed designer Zac Posen and made with Lands' End quality.
Delta also said that it will be introducing a new service to Mumbai from the US, but won't say when and from where. The airline also states further global expansion with the launch of new services between New York-JFK and Ponta Delgada in the Azores; Indianapolis and Paris-CDG; and Atlanta and Lisbon.
The Trump supporting airline is also celebrating gaining final approval from the Los Angeles World Airports Board of Airport Commissioners to begin constructing the Sky Way at LAX, Delta's $1.9 billion plan to modernize Terminals 2 and 3, and connect them to the Tom Bradley International Terminal.
