Dramatic scenes unfolded at the terminal of London Stansted Airport this afternoon as a car park shuttle coach burst into flames.
The fire on the bendy bus sent thick plumes of smoke up to the air and all along the front canopy of the terminal building causing worry and panic among some passengers at the Essex airport.
The broke out at around 16.30 and there are no reports of any injuries or the cause of the fire which has now been extinguished according to the airport's fire service.
Some travellers were evacuated from the building as a precaution as thick smoke billowed along the front of the air building and the airport is investigating the incident.
