August Figures Up For Hawaiian

The sunny Hawaiian Airlines released their August figures this week and they show modest growth for the airline that's now in its 88th year of operation.

During the month the airline saw loads increase from 84.4% percent last August to  86.2% percent this year, passengers transported increased by 2.8% percent. Revenues also saw a very modest increase of approximately 1% percent. However, the year to date figures seems to indicate a bigger increase in revenue and loads 5.4% percent and 2.2% percent respectively.

The OAG recently proclaimed Hawaiian as the world's most punctual airline and has beaten all other US airlines in on-time performance for the last 13 years as reported by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Now in its 88th year of continuous service, Hawaiian is Hawai'i's biggest and longest-serving airline. Hawaiian offers non-stop service to Hawai'i from more US cities than any other airline. The airline also operates even longer haul international flights to destinations such as Japan, South Korea, China, Australia, New Zealand, American Samoa and Tahiti.
